    Prayers
bulletRemember, O Lord, our son Greg, who has fallen asleep in the hope of resurrection. Forgive him all his transgressions, both voluntary and involuntary. Set him in a bright place of light, in a place of green pasture, in a place of rest where all pain, sorrow, and sighing have fled away, and where the light of Thy Countenance shines and gladdens forever. Grant unto him and unto us Thy Kingdom and participation in Thine eternal blessings, to delight in Thine unending and blessed life. For Thou are the Life, the Resurrection and the Repose of Thy servants who have fallen asleep, O Christ our God. We render glory to Thee, with Thine eternal Father, and with Thine All-Holy Spirit, now and ever, and into the ages of ages. Amen.

bulletI thank my God each time I think of you. And when I pray for you I pray with joy.        --Ephesians
bullet
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you
and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest ...for you my yoke is
easy and my burden is light. - Matthew 11:28-30

bulletThe sun shines equally both on cedars and on every tiny flower. In just the same way God looks after
every soul as if it had no equal. All is planned for the good of every soul, exactly as the seasons are
so arranged that the humblest daisy blossoms at the appointed time. --St. Therese

bullet  I Prayed for You Today

Even though I wasn't sure exactly what to say, I talked to God and spoke your name,
I prayed for you today. I asked the Lord to give you strength, to calm you from your stress,
to free you from the things you fear and bathe your mind with rest. I asked the Lord to help you in the uphill days to come. I asked our precious loving God to complete what He's begun.  He whispered in the quiet and filled my heart with peace. He said that you are deeply loved, that His grace will never cease.

bulletI am safely home in Heaven, dear ones; Oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever, safely home in Heaven at last.
Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still:
Try to look beyond earth's shadow, pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand;
Do it now , while life remaineth; you shall rest in God's land.
When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh, the joy to see you come!

bullet Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope, Where there is darkness light, and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine, Master grant that I may  not so much seek to be consoled, as to console;
To be understood as to understand; To be loved, as to love; For it is in giving that we receive
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
- St. Francis of Assisi
