1 - from his band OVERUNDER titled "Line Out". - OverUnder has a Rock / Folk / Experimental sound. Band Members are Greg Walz-Chojnacki- drums, Jack Phinney-bass Mike Vasich-organ and keys, Nick Africano-vocals, acoustic and electric guitars Dan Walz-Chojnacki electric guitars.
2- from his band The Orange Mighty Trio titled "Orange Mighty Trio" EP and "Infrastructure" CD - With a lineup of violin (Zack Kline), piano (Mike Vasich), and bass (Nick Guadette), the trio could venture almost anywhere, and often does. Essentially forging its own mutant chamber music context, the group stretches its web from jazz through classical to bluegrass, mixing the odd traditional piece among originals. Kline's fiddle, which also graces the Celtic-folk outfit Piper's Crow, leads the way, emulating Grappelli here, Heifetz there, Vassar Clements over there. The sprightly trad tune "Billy in the Low Ground," laced with cross-genre improvisations, kicks off the EP. "Energy Fields," meanwhile, is full of stately lyricism, while "Millennium" is a blues-tinged new-grass romp. (From the City Pages June 13,2007)
